CaaS Nordic and ITS Estonia to Host Joint Workshop in Tallinn on Digitalizing Logistics
CaaS Nordic, in collaboration with ITS Estonia & the eFTI4EU project- is proud to announce an upcoming workshop in Tallinn on June 9–10, 2025. The event will bring together stakeholders from across the Baltic Sea region to explore new opportunities for cross-border cooperation in the field of logistics and transport digitalisation.
The two-day workshop will begin with a journey to Tallinn, where participants will gather at the Ministry building for a full day of discussions, presentations and collaboration. The program will open with welcoming speeches from Madis Sassiad and representatives of CaaS Nordic, followed by a series of presentations showcasing ongoing initiatives from Estonia, Finland, Sweden, Latvia and Lithuania. These sessions will highlight current digitalisation efforts, including developments related to electronic freight transport information (eFTI) and strategies for smoother cross-border logistics. A special session led by Anna-Lisa Aavik will provide an overview of available funding instruments to support future initiatives.
The second day of the workshop will feature a visit to DPD logistics, offering participants a closer look at practical applications in the logistics sector, clarifying new project ideas and funding opportunities for international collaboration.
The afternoon will be dedicated to interactive sessions, where participating organizations will briefly introduce themselves and share their ideas for joint actions. A moderated brainstorming session will follow, aiming to generate concrete project concepts and define areas of mutual interest.
This workshop is part of a broader effort to strengthen cooperation among Nordic and Baltic stakeholders and to promote innovation in transport systems through digital transformation. By bringing together key actors in Tallinn, the event aims to lay the groundwork for impactful projects that will shape the future of logistics in the region.
